ESTUDO DA LINGUAGEM DO POVOADO OLHO D’ÁGUA DA LAPA

Abstract

O presente trabalho trata-se de uma análise da linguagem dos moradores do povoado Olho D’Água da Lapa e apresenta as principais variações linguísticas encontradas na fala dos habitantes deste local. Para tanto, tornou-se imprescindível a apresentação do contexto histórico da linguística, assim como as concepções de vários estudiosos sobre a sociolinguística e a variação linguística com a pretensão de auxiliar a compreensão do tema escolhido. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi identificar e analisar a diversidade linguística existente na fala dos moradores através dos fenômenos linguísticos apontados por Marcos Bagno. Isso porque existem maneiras diferentes de falar que divergem do português padrão que prega o uso “correto” destas palavras e discriminam aquelas. Este é um trabalho de cunho bibliográfico e descritivo, onde foi utilizado como fonte a obra A Língua de Eulália do linguista Marcos Bagno, como também o posicionamento de renomados linguistas acerca da diversidade linguística, tais como: Labov (2007), Mollica (2008), Preti (1987) e Sá (2007), entre outros. Durante a produção deste trabalho, foi realizada uma pesquisa de campo onde colheu-se informações, averiguou-se e constatou-se a existência de variações linguísticas na fala dos moradores entrevistados por meio de entrevistas orais. Por conseguinte, expôs-se essas diversidades e fez-se uma análise descritiva das falas destas pessoas. Para contribuir com a eliminação do preconceito linguístico, citou-se quais os principais fatores que condicionam tal ocorrência, justificando-as e respeitando o modo de falar de cada um, além da tentativa de abolir o pensamento de que existe uma fala totalmente correta ou um falar mais bonito e elegante que o outro.________________________________________________________________________ABSTRACT The present work deals with an analysis of the language of the inhabitants in a small city of Olho D'Água da Lapa and introduce the main linguistic variations found in the speech of the inhabitants of this place. Therefore, it was essential to present the historical context of linguistics, as well as the conceptions of several scholars on sociolinguistics and linguistic variation with the aim of helping to understand the chosen theme. The aim of this research was to identify and analyze the linguistic diversity existing in the residents' speech through the linguistic phenomena pointed out by Marcos Bagno. This is because there are different ways of speaking that diverge from the standard Portuguese that preaches the "correct" use of these words and discriminate them. This is a bibliographical and descriptive work, whose The language of Eulalia of the linguist Marcos Bagno was used as a source, as well as the positioning of renowned linguists on linguistic diversity, such as: Labov (2007), Mollica (2008), Preti (1987) and Sá (2007), among others. During the production of this work, a field survey was conducted in which information was gathered, and linguistic variations were verified in the interviewed speakers' speeches through oral interviews. Therefore, these diversities were exposed and a descriptive analysis of the speeches of these people was made. In order to contribute to the elimination of linguistic prejudice, it was mentioned the main factors that condition such occurrence, justifying them and respecting the way of speaking of each one, besides the attempt to abolish the thought that there is a totally correct speech or a Speak more beautiful and elegant than the other.
