FORMAÇÃO CONTINUADA NA DOCÊNCIA SUPERIOR: DESAFIOS E PERSPECTIVAS DOS DOCENTES DA UEG - CÂMPUS PORANGATU

Abstract

Este artigo teve como objeto de estudo compreender os desafios dos docentes da Universidade Estadual de Goiás (UEG) - Campus Porangatu, para manterem sua formação de maneira continuada e revelar quais as perspectivas desses profissionais em relação ao que poderia ser mudado para essa formação se tornar mais acessível. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa de campo em que se investigou a falta de tempo destes professores por trabalharem em instituições distintas; a desmotivação dos que trabalham em regime de contrato temporário, por não possuírem os mesmos direitos dos docentes efetivados por meio de concurso, bem como destacar as expectativas desses profissionais quanto à acessibilidade aos cursos de formação continuada (NOVOA, 1992). As respostas para esses questionamentos se fizeram pertinentes para que pudéssemos entender a realidade desses profissionais não apenas no que se refere à formação continuada, mas também, no que tange às condições de trabalho reveladas no decorrer da investigação.______________________________________________________________________________ The objective of this study was to understand the challenges faced by professors from the State University of Goiás (UEG) - Campus Porangatu, in order to maintain their training in a continuous manner and to reveal the perspectives of these professionals in relation to what could be changed for this training to become more accessible. For that, a field research was conducted in which the lack of time of these teachers was investigated for working in different institutions; the lack of motivation of those who work under a temporary contract, because they do not have the same rights as teachers effected by means of a competition, as well as to highlight the expectations of these professionals regarding the accessibility of continuing education courses (NOVOA, 1992). The answers to these questions became pertinent so that we could understand the reality of these professionals, not only with regard to continuing education, but also with regard to the working conditions revealed during the investigation.
