O ENSINO DA HABILIDADE ORAL EM LÍNGUA INGLESA SOB A ÓTICA DOS ALUNOS DO 8º ANO DE UM ESCOLA DO MUNICÍPIO DE POSSE-GO

Abstract

A presente monografia vinculada aos estudos que integram a área da Linguística Aplicada é resultado de investigações sobre a relevância do desenvolvimento da prática oral de língua inglesa por alunos do 8º ano “A” do Colégio Municipal Castro Alves. Optamos pela pesquisa qualitativa/quantitativa/interpretativista, considerada a mais indicada para o tipo de pesquisa oral desenvolvida. Posto isso, foi possível compreender e analisar a opinião alunos participantes, como também apresentar os resultados mensuráveis por meio da linguagem gráfica. Tal investigação nos permitiu compreender o desenvolvimento do processo de ensino/aprendizagem de língua inglesa, as limitações enfrentadas pelos alunos e as possíveis soluções para estas dificuldades, o interesse dos alunos pelo acesso a situações reais de comunicação e sua relevância na sala de aula. Para tanto, nos apoiamos nas teorias de especialistas da língua inglesa que nos possibilitaram a relacionar a teoria com a prática em sala de aula._________________________________________________This work, related to the studies that integrate the area of applied linguistics is result of investigations about the relevance of the oral practice development in English Language by students on 8th grade "A" of the Colégio Municipal Castro Alves. We chose the qualitative / quantitative/interpretative research so that it was possible to describe the speech of the students participating in the research as well as objective and numerical results through tabulation in graphs. This research allowed us to understand the English language teaching / learning process development, the difficulties faced by students and the solutions possible, the students' interest in by to real communication situations and their relevance in the classroom. To this end, we rely on the theories of English language specialists that enabled us to relate theory to practice in the classroom.
