ABORDAGEM TEXTUAL NO ENSINO DO LATIM NA UNIVERSIDADE ESTADUAL DE GOIÁS

Abstract

O presente artigo científico tem como finalidade demonstrar a importância do latim nos cursos de licenciatura em letras da universidade estadual de goiás, por meio de uma abordagem de textos clássicos originais em três níveis de competências: linguística, textual e intertextual. Desta forma, o objetivo é verificar o processo de ensino-aprendizagem dessa língua cerne e refletir sobre a importância desse ensino, contemplando estratégias que possibilitem trabalhar a gramática, sem desassociá-la da leitura textual e intertextual. Pode-se dizer que o latim facilita a leitura e interpretação de vários textos científicos, notadamente propondo o aprimoramento dos conhecimentos da análise sintática, permitindo ao estudante ler diretamente no original. Além disso, o mesmo possibilita não somente o discernimento sobre as origens das palavras, mas, indubitavelmente, corrobora com a ampla formação; cultural, social e intelectual dos indivíduos. Com o intuito de investigar a temática e com a finalidade de alcançar os objetivos almejados nesse artigo, a pesquisa desenvolveu-se por intermédio de uma revisão bibliográfica e pesquisa de campo. Sendo descritiva com uma abordagem qualitativa e quantitativa, analisando os dados com fins explicativos. Em suma, quando se tem em perspectiva ler textos clássicos no original, devem-se ter práticas de ensino-aprendizagem, conteúdos que vão além da mera descrição gramatical. De fato, é incontestável pensar no estudo de uma língua desassociando a cultura que a fundamenta como natural. Deste modo, é preciso retomá-la e buscar entendê-la tanto quanto possível. ___________________________________________The present article aims to demonstrate the importance of Latin in the Language courses in letters from the State University Goiás, through an approach of original classic texts in three levels of competence: linguistic, textual and intertextual. The aim is, verifying the teaching-learning process of this language, and to reflect about the importance of this teaching, contemplating strategies that make it possible work with grammar without disassociating it from textual and intertextual reading. It is said that Latin facilitates the reading and interpretation of several scientific texts, notably proposing the improvement of the knowledge of the syntactic analysis, allowing the student to read directly in the original. Moreover, it does not only enable discernment of the origins of words, but it undoubtedly corroborates the broad formation; cultural, social and intellectual development of individuals. In order to investigate the theme and in order to reach the objectives of this article, the research was developed through a bibliographical research and field research. Being descriptive with a qualitative and quantitative approach, analyzing the data for explanatory purposes. In short, when the perspective is to read classic texts in the original, one must have teaching-learning practices, contents that go beyond mere grammatical description. In fact, it is incontestable to think about the study of a language by disassociating the culture that bases it as natural one. In way, it is necessary to take it back and try to understand it as much as possible.
