A CONDIÇÃO HUMANA EM UM COPO DE CÓLERA, DE RADUAN NASSAR

Abstract

Na era capitalista, a sociedade tem sofrido diversas mudanças, tanto de ordem econômica como comportamental. Georg Simmel (1987) vê o dinheiro como o herói e o vilão da modernidade. Apesar de facilitar as relações comerciais, ele contribuiu para a impessoalidade, pois, todo contato com o outro é visto em bases mercantilistas. Assim, se as facilidades do mundo moderno trazem comodidade e agilidade ao indivíduo, por outro lado, acaba por influenciar negativamente nos seus valores morais. Tendo em vista este novo homem do milênio, é proposta deste trabalho discutir a condição humana na obra pós-modernista, Um copo de cólera, de Raduan Nassar. Dessa maneira, buscaremos ressaltar as imagens do homem moderno e como se dão suas relações interpessoais. Como embasamento teórico, trazemos à luz importantes estudos, como os de Erich Froom (1987), Gilles Lipovetsky (2005) e Zygmunt Bauman (2008), que destacam a problemática do caótico e fragmentado mundo moderno. ____________________________________________________________________________ABSTRACT

In the capitalist age, the society has undergone several changes both in the economic and behavioral.
